I am a frequent migraine sufferer, but usually not this bad. For the last 2 days, I have been flat on my back or in the bathroom, sick. I was sent home from work on Friday from the grocery store, called in sick on Saturday morning… all after spending all morning Friday at work, sick… but typing and staying very quiet and sick…
I still don’t feel well. I feel like all of my teeth, especially my molars, are going to drop out of my jaw bone and roll around on the floor – maybe even do a dance. I know I have been clenching a lot more lately due to stress, but this is ridiculous!
I see the ortho on Monday for my regular adjustment. I was supposed to be seen 3 weeks go to have him address the nerve pain in my face, but that appointment was cancelled because my RSD flared up and I landed my pretty behind in the ER (oh the joys…). I am going to complain not only about the headaches/ migraines, but also about my “tooth sucking” habit… and ask him about the inflammation in my face, which is causing me to have a crease on the inside of my mouth on the left side. I would also like to ask him why everything in dentistry tastes so vile – blargh… I think I’m getting a new wire and hopefully my powerchain on bottom will be changed out or removed, as the purple is getting rather dull looking.
I can’t stand these migraines though. My whole body hurts, I get diarrhea sometimes (really bad this time), nausea, *pretty* auras, dry heaves/ vomiting, increased urination, ear pain, chills, dizziness, double vision, numbness and or tingling in my arms legs, and the list goes on. Yes, I should see a doctor but I really don’t have the money to right now.
My teeth hurt so badly right now it was painful eating pizza! I am less than 36hrs away from an adjustment and my teeth hurt like I just had a new wire put in… not fun. There has to be something going on and needless to say, I’m not leaving the office on Monday without some type of plan of action to help reduce my headaches again. My ortho has calmed them down before and I expect nothing less on Monday – I’m not going to live with headaches for the rest of my life and we know for sure some of them are directly related to my severe TMJ. If I still have dibilitating headaches like this once the TMJ has been treated agressively, then I’ll go back and have them do more tests to make sure my brain isn’t tilted or something.
